There are definitely some perks that come with being Number 1 on MojoPages. And by Number 1, we mean the Firsts…like the First member ever to review a business!

We know that as more and more reviews are written for a business on MojoPages, the older ones get pushed to the end to make room for more recent reviews at the top of the list. But we haven’t forgotten about our beloved reviewer who was there in the beginning…
We like trendsetters and don’t want them to get lost at the end, so we acknowledge the first member to write a review with their photo and name at the top of the list.
But that’s not all… the first person to review a business receives double the Mojo. That’s two points instead of the usual one - they can really add up, so it’s a great way to earn points!

Taking a Closer Look for More Accurate Results….
We’ve recently made some exciting improvements to our search algorithm…blah blah blah…
In case we lost you at algorithm, basically, that’s tech talk for we’ve improved how the search runs so that it retrieves the most accurate business results.
We’ve been working on this for a while now, so we’re really excited to have it go live. Now, the new and improved search will bring up the most accurate results for even the most obscure multiple word searches!
For example, say you’re looking for an Irish Pub to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Before, your search for Irish Pub may have resulted in anything Irish OR Pub related. But now, you should only get results that are truly Irish Pubs.
Try a combo word search that will really make the algorithm work for ya; maybe a car dealer or nail salon? Or how about a water distributor…to help you replenish your fluids after an evening at the Irish Pub?
Try it out - we dare you to try to stump the system!

Who will go… All the Waaayyy??!!.
The preseason is over and the official NFL season kicks off tonight - or today, depending on where you’re at -Â as the New York Giants host the Washington Redskins.
Who will win…?? Who knows!! But it’s just the beginning…a warm-up per se for Sunday, when the games go back-to-back all morning, afternoon and evening long.
So for all you football fans out there, how will you be sure to stay on top of the season?And how about the ladies that have their shows to watch on the tube as well? What will you do when they overlap?

San Diego Community Launch Party Re-cap.
We just had our first official MojoPages Community Launch Party, coordinated by LandMarK Events, and it was a HUGE success - with 500+ RSVPs the party was packed! And the newly renovated W Hotel was the perfect venue…right on the rooftop on the sand (super cool setup and vibe, slightly less cool for the ladies in stilettos - but hey, it’s a small price to pay for fashion)!
And of course, many, many thanks to all you Mojo’ers who came out to show your support for MojoPages and Keep-a-Breast!
Kicking things off in true rock star style, was our step and repeat (thank you Koerce Media)! And who can forget Ryan from Blue Star Body Lounge who was a huge hit with his relaxing professional massages…then there was the putt-putt golf experience provided by De La Cruz Golf Design and to top it off, an exciting Polynesian dance performance by Kaleo O’nalani with a special guest appearance by the Roxy Girls who stopped by before kicking off their National Surf Tour, transportation courtesy of SKYY Limousine.
Also, the hosted Tommy Bahama Rum bar was a tasty treat and those cocktails were delicious (and deadly by the end of the night). Combined with the pink Emergen-C CosMojos, whose proceeds benefited Keep-a-Breast (don’t you love a party with a cause?!), things got a little crazy by the end of the night! Here are some photos in case it’s all a little blurry…
